Zaid Ghattas is the Commercial Lead at AMD. In this role, Zaid is responsible to drive AMD revenues from the Middle East, Turkey & Africa commercial, enterprise, and public sector end users & Solution Providers.

Zaid has had the rare privilege of working across many of the top global Information technology portfolio vendors including VMware, Intel Corporation, Hewlett Packard (HP), Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), EPSON and OKI Printing solutions, and executed many technologies infrastructure projects in over 20 different markets, from opportunity creation through to execution.
Additionally, Zaid had completed a job rotation at Intel Head Quarters in the Silicon Valley, where he worked as a Global Sales Manager as part of the global Oracle account team. Zaid is a highly qualified, passionate entrepreneur & driven professional with a strong experience across almost all aspects of business including building successful sales & marketing strategy, Leadership & People management as well as product management and development.

Prior to starting his career, Zaid spent 7 years of his journey in Sydney, Australia where he worked & received his higher Education in Information Technology, Network Engineering from TAFE New South Wales in addition to completing a diploma in Machine Learning ML from Data to Decision at Massachusetts Institute of Technology- MIT.

Zaid is passionate about Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, HPC and has extensive knowledge in this area which uniquely positions Zaid as a thought leader within the information & communication technology domain.
